Burcot Grange and Lodge

Burcot Grange and Lodge is an established care home in Burcot, Bromsgrove delivering residential and dementia care.

We are all aware of the great work St Richard’s Hospice does and we have cared for several residents who have been patients of the Hospice.

We hope to raise funds for the Hospice via team building events.

“St Richard’s Hospice holds a special place in our hearts. Demonstrating exceptional care, compassion, and commitment, our Managing Director, John Sinclair, spent his final days at St Richard’s Hospice.

John Sinclair was a remarkable son, brother, uncle, husband, father, friend, and businessman. He passed away on 21st December 2020 at the age of 54 after bravely battling Oesophageal Cancer for three years.”

Crowngate Shopping Centre

Worcester’s largest shopping centre at the heart of the city. Crowngate boasts 55 stores, a large car park and the city’s bus station. More than 30 years since its development in 1992, the two main shopping districts – Friary Walk and Chapel Walk – are at the heart of Worcester. Foster Care Associates

Foster Care Associates Midlands is an Independent Fostering Agency based in the West Midlands. We are committed to and passionate about making a difference to children and young people in foster care. We assess, approve, support and train foster parents in their roles of caring for children.

As part of Foster Care Associates 30 year celebrations a legacy event has been started in aid of raising money for charities. Our “Going the extra mile together” charity weekend is set for 21st and 22nd June 2025 with St Richards as our chosen charity. Our event will include foster families, children, young people, staff and pets to cover as may miles as possible over the weekend.

St Richards has been chosen as a special charity that serves our community, but also due to personal connections to those within our service.

Fire Protection Association

The Fire Protection Association (FPA) is raising money for St Richard’s Hospice in memory of our late Managing Director, Jonathan O’Neill OBE, who sadly passed away in March 2023.

Jon led the FPA for 24 years and was one of the most influential figures in the fire safety industry. In tribute to him, the FPA is organising and participating in a series of activities this year to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice who looked after Jon and supported his family.

mfg Solicitors LLP

Every year the Staff within the Worcester Office of mfg, vote for their Charity of the Year. The Staff send through to the Corporate Social Responsibility Members, their nominated local Charity and if there is a particular reason for the nomination. The nominations are then sent through to the Office to vote and the Office were extremely pleased that St Richard’s Hospice won on votes.

St Richard’s Hospice means a lot to a number a Staff at mfg Worcester, due to support and care the Hospice has provided to their family or friends over the years and what the Hospice does for the local Community.
